Today, I want to introduce you to floral designer Chelsa Larson, owner of Funky Petals Floral Studio in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. She, along with several local vendors, dreamed up and executed this photo shoot based on the concept of structural floral elements, designed around the natural elements of a family homestead near Barons and Keho Lake, Alberta. Chelsa says:
“We all love to work within the visions of our clients, while adding our own personal flourish into the mix. To be able to branch out and build something that is entirely our own is a necessity to learn new techniques that we may not otherwise be able to do. For this photo shoot, we wanted to emphasize the harmony of the model, the landscape, and the flowers. Rather than doing a typical bridal styled shoot, we wanted to focus on the natural beauty of our model, and contrast the femininity of the floral elements with a look that was a bit more urban, understated, and assertive.”
Thank you to Chelsa Larson and friends, for sharing your work with the BB community!
