Summer Intensive Certificate programs at The New York Botanical Garden will begin in July. These programs offer concentrated sessions which allow students to complete up to half of all NYBG certification requirements in just two weeks for Gardening…and just five weeks for Floral and Landscape Design.
The Landscape Design Summer Intensive runs July 8-August 9. Starting with a historical overview, the course covers each step of the design process: landscape analysis, site-specific design, planting plans that are both beautiful and sustainable, site engineering, graphics, preparing proposals and professional presentations.. Find more information here.
The Gardening Summer Intensive runs July 15-26. The 250-acre New York Botanical Garden makes a magnificent classroom, where regional experts guide you through the art and science of plant selection and care for home or small-scale residential and community gardens. Find more information here.
The Floral Design Summer Intensive runs July 8- August 9. One-on-one training from real-world professionals provides the skills needed to create fresh arrangements, design for weddings or parties, or manage your own shop. Find more information here.
